A space for me. To share what I do. “If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.” ― A.A. Milne

Elephant Birthday Card
This is the card I made for my daughter's 17th birthday. She is always saying she wants a puppy sized elephant, so here it is. He is punch art with various punches.
Candles
At Christmas time, Big Lots was selling these candles for .25 cents a piece, I bought a bunch to use as gifts, I decorated them and actually used them for prizes at my niece's baby shower.
M & M Holders
These are small Matchbox cards cut to fit the snack size
M & M's, only plain work, peanut are just to bulky.
The face is made from various punches.
Pretty in Pink
This was a challenge on a blog...didn't turn out that
great. The stamps are from the Stampin' up set
Fox and Friends.
Small Notebooks
These are 4 small notebooks, these are going to be part of one
of my Saturday, Girl's Day in the future. The first one is made
with the Stampin' Up set - All Natural, the second one is made
with the Stampin' Up set - Fabulous Florets, the third one is made
with the Stampin' Up set - Embrace Life and the fourth one is made
with the Stampin' Up set - Friends Never Fade.
Spring Basket
This was a fun little basket. It's made from a 8x8" square of paper,
scored at 2" and 4" on both sides. The handle is made from 3 12"x3/4"
strips that I braided and they are attached on the sides by
brads. The flowers on the front are from Stampin' Up set "All Natural".
Snowman Candy Bar Wrappers
These are the mini Kit Kat bars, wrapped with white cardstock,
the hats are a small square punch with the corners rounded, the
brim of the hat is from the Word Window punch, cut down to
match the hat. The rest are various size punched circles.
It's been awhile
It's been awhile since I updated my blog, so much going on, and not enough time to get everything done. Christmas was here and gone in a flash, I almost have my livingroom back to normal.
On December 26th we welcomed Brady James Jacobsen to the family, he is my niece's first baby and he decided he wanted to be here a bit early, his due date was February 6th and arrived weighing 3 pounds 12 ounces and was 17" long. He is in the NICU in a neighboring hospital, he is doing well, as of January 7th, he weighed just a bit over 4 pounds. We look forward to finally getting to meet him sometime in February.
It's a beautiful sunny warm day here in Wisconsin....winter hasn't found us yet. It's 44 degrees today, I even opened a few windows to air out the house.
Hopefully this year will bring more crafting to me, last year I had a hard time finding my mojo.
Happy New Year to all!
